Ratchet and Clank are back in the 5th edition of the series with the usual dose of space battles, fantastic weapons and a great sense of humor. The game, though a first port for the PSP, has managed to keep a clean interface with no graphics glitches or engine bugs. The PSP Ratchet and Clank bundle is currently seeing good sales volumes reflecting the popularity of the games characters at the moment.

The game is developed by High Impact Games, a break away from the original developers, Insomniac Games. Graphically the game matches the PS2 version but with some minor sacrifices. The cutscenes sometimes do not match with the game and the game might not look very polished occassionly. But the game runs very smoothly without jarring, the character movements are deft and environment full of details. As for the audio, the voice-overs are excellent with the artists maintaining the tone of the great humor, that the game is known for. The music is scintillating and pulse racing depending on the situation and the battle sounds are simply great.

With multiple levels and multi player, this PSP games bundle is a complete package and takes about seven hours when played without any deviations. Then there are the quests and minigames that make the game all the more interesting. The developers at High Impact Games have done an immaculate job on this PSP Ratchet and Clank bundle option.

Storyline

Ratchet and Clank is better known for its fantastic battles and weapons than the story. And so is the case with Size Matters. Ratchet and Clank are on vacation to Pokitaru where they meet a little girl named Luna. Luna is kidnapped by mysterious robots called Technomites. While on their quest to rescue Luna, the duo get entangled in a conspiracy which sees Ratchet being kidnapped by Luna and his DNA stolen by Otto Destruct, the emperor of the Technomites. The Emperor has plans to use the DNA to create the ultimate soldier to help in his ambition of being the ruler of the universe.

Clank, who has been dumped by Luna in a junkyard at Metalis morphs into Giant Clank, and sets out to find the kidnapped Ratchet. Clank eventually finds and defeats Luna with Ratchets help but in the process, Ratchet gets infected by the tiny robots inside Luna. Clank uses his shrink ray to get inside Ratchet and defeat the robots getting Ratchet back on his feet again.

Eventually the friends realize that they have been a part of a bigger conspiracy with Luna telling them just a cheesy story. How the friends defeat Otto and save the world forms the latter part of the story with a rib tickling climax that can only be expected of a Ratchet and Clank Game.

In addition to upgrading your weapons you can also earn life points by winning minigames and killing enemies. Life points can be used for extending the life of the protagonists during the gameplay.
7. Multiplayer:
In addition to the interesting gameplay, the game also features multiplayer capabilities for up to 4 players. Connect wirelessly or over the internet to engage in fierce battles with your friends on the game's platform. Play over a variety of game modes like death match or objective based competitions.
8. Mini games:
The entire gameplay is interspersed with tons of mini games. Gain access to various vehicles to compete in races and combat with enemies in intense battles. Gain cash by defeating enemies which can be used to buy weapons.
