Gameplay
In God of War, Kratos, after being tricked into killing his wife and child pledges himself to the service of the gods for years to come. The God of War series has Kratos, already halfway through his service, being sent to the ancient city of Attica, to help defend the city from the invading Persian army. Upon defeating the Persian King, the sun suddenly sets. With the whole world plunged into darkness and the gods rendered helpless, Kratos must now set out on a path to restore Helios back to the sky to keep his promise to the gods. In order to succeed he must now face some of the most feared creatures of Greek mythology before being faced with the great dilemma of choosing between his own redemption and saving the whole ancient world from destruction.
The game is a third person action adventure with boss fights, with the player being able to play the protagonist, Kratos. The game features four boss fights in all: the basilisk, Charon, Persephone and the Persian king. Not much has changed for the PSP God of War bundled version of the popular God of War series. Kratos still carries his basic weapons and collects red orbs to power up his abilities.
